How much to ship laptop to Thailand for repair under warranty and return to USA? Duty assessed?
I have an Acer computer. Hard drive doesn't work, and it needs to be repaired. I wonder how much am I going to be charged shipping it out - I'm afraid of being charged duty two ways.

A lot. Probably $50 or more. Maybe as much as $100. I've seen people pay $50 for domestic shipping before for an expensive item. Why do you need to ship the whole laptop back, why not just the hard drive? You may also be able to get the company to pay for the shipping under warranty, or to pay for it to be repaired by a local company.
