I recently moved to the USA and brought a laptop with me, how do I set it up to run here?

I recently moved to the USA and brought a laptop with me, how do I set it up to run here?
How do I setup a laptop recently brought from another country? I have the necessary adapters. I turned the laptop on and it works but can't hook up to the Internet. I have netgear router and it recognises it.

More info is needed. You say it recognizes the wireless signal from the router. You then have have to open up your wireless software and choose to connect to the signal. Can't help you any further for lack of information.

You need a ISP in order to hit the internet up, when you get one you like, I suggest cable, then ask them to set things up for you should work.

dell or hp laptop service in India ,which are bought from USA?
Im from India.i want to buy dell or hp laptop from USA.can i get my laptop serviced in India because some service centres refuses to give service because they are purchased outside from India.

Where can I find a Hello Kitty Laptop in the USA?

Where can I find a Hello Kitty Laptop in the USA?
NEC in Japan made one with swaroski crystals which is what I really want but they are only sold in Japan. I also dont want to pay 1700 for a laptop.

USA Gateway Laptop, And I have used up all of my DVD region changes

I have a USA Gateway Laptop, And I have used up all of my DVD region changes. What do I do?
I want my Laptop to play UK DVD's (Region 2) Can I do any thing to get more changes?
