My brother has a laptop that is eligible for Windows 7 Free Upgrade, but Packard Bell doesn't ship to the USA?
We live in the USA and want to order the Windows 7 Free Upgrade and it seems that Packard Bell doesn't ship to the US. Any suggestions on what to do?

ask if they can connect into your computer and download it from where they are. It's possible, and you can watch the installatino take place on your computer while a tech from another country does the downloads.

They're a subsidiary of Acer. You might try going through Acer instead. Otherwise there are good odds you're not technically eligible. You might try getting wherever he obtained the laptop from to obtain the upgrade for you, too, rather than doing it directly yourself.
