When you buy a laptop in USA, can it play Region 2 DVDs?
If you a buy a laptop/notebook (specifically Apple MacBook) in the USA and import it into Europe, can this laptop play Region 2 (Europe) DVDs? Or is it only configured for reading of Region 1 (USA & Canada) DVDs? Thanks for help!

You can change the region seven times and then after that, it stays to what it was on the seventh time. This is done just for the reason you asked or for the one-offs you need to change the region.

DHL would be his best bet, there are major DHL hubs at all of London's airports and smaller offices all over London. They are fast, secure and safe. DHL will courier it to your address. However, before they deliver it you will be liable for import duty and customs duty. Goods sent as a gift that are over £36 in value are liable to import VAT.
