how do you use a laptop from the USA to Europe?
i was wondering how does the watts change? Like do i need any special cables or docks in order for it to work in Europe?

Most laptops are made to accept both 110 and 220. If not, you'll need a voltage converter. Either way, you'll need a plug adapter.

Seller in USA is sending laptop via USPS to India. I've already paid him online
Seller in USA is sending laptop via USPS to India. I've already paid him online. Any other charges?
I bought a laptop online and they are going to send it via USPS to India. I have already paid shipping charges. What additional charges will I have to pay? And to whom? Will my laptop be held ransom at customs until I pay those charges? I have heard horror stories about customs in India and don't want to be a victim here. I already spent all my money on the laptop and don't have any extra to pay customs. Please help...

Your laptop will be "held ransom" at customs, why would you think they would make a special exception for you? Not.

Why not? Their Internet? I am currently using my Hp laptop from USA in South Africa. The only problem you might have is the power adapter. I don't know what the voltage in the Philippines but in South Africa is 220v and in America is 110v. So I had to buy a universal AC adapter.
