Would a Dvd that will only work in USA work on my Laptop if I change it to USA?p?
Im dying to get this dvd but it only A usa dvd! If it cant play on my laptop any thing I can do a part from Buy a USA dvd player (FYI i live in Britain

yes you just have 2 change the regional code but u can only change it 3 times usaly

Gotta love region encoding for price and release date control. Most playback software allows a limited number of changes to the region configuration (I think the laptop I used to use had a player that allowed 3 changes) so be careful if you are thinking to repeatedly switch the value. You may want to read some forums for your playback software discussing how to change it.

as Zak says it can be done but if you want to change back you can only do so up to 5 times on ones I have had
