My laptop is wifi ready in the USA, will I have to adjust it to have it work in Manila WIFI areas?
Besides a power adapter/ convertor, is there anything else I would need to have it work in WIFI areas?

I don't think so, WIFI is pretty much universal, if I were to attempt to access WIFI anywhere else in the world it should work fine.

Just be certain to leave it on 'auto'. That lets the computer 'sniff' out the hotspots around.
